Recipes: Peanutty Pie

    1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
    3 Tbsp. light brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. Once Again Nut Butter crunchy peanut butter*
    1 (1.3 oz.) envelope whipped topping mix
    1 package (4 oz.) instant French vanilla pudding and pie filling
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. Once Again Nut Butter crunchy peanut butter*
    2 c. whipped topping
    2 Tbsp. chopped peanuts

  1. Combine crumbs and sugar in a small bowl.
  2. Combine butter and peanut butter in a small saucepan; stir together and melt over low heat.
  3. Pour over crumbs and toss with a fork until completely mixed. Firmly press mixture on bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan. Chill while preparing filling.
  4. Combine topping mix, pie filling and milk in a small mixer bowl. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes until very thick.
  5. On low speed, mix in 1/4 cup peanut butter.
  6. Spread in chilled pie shell.
  7. Spread whipped topping over filling and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
  8. Chill at least 1 hour.
  9. Makes one 9” pie.
